  I've been a huge fan of the Outlaw since I move to CO in the mid-80's. Talk about consistency that spans the decades.
  
  Always awesome food and great service, and not just the steaks. Lots of history on the walls to explore. Rudy built a dynasty here, and it continues until today. Example of great service: I had a Mediterranian salad last night, and asked the server if I could have jalapenos in place of the olives. Not only did the salad come with fresh sliced peppers, but on the side was a huge freshly roasted jalapeño. A Ouray classic, along with the Bon Ton.

  We really enjoyed it! Jordan, our server was the best part of the whole experience. Absolutely wonderful, he was professional and knowledgeable and his timing was perfect, truly beyond 5 star service! The meal was also very good, my lamb chops were a touch overdone, and not the best I've had but still very good. My husbands steak (filet) was fantastic. Garlic mashed potatoes were the special side, I could have licked the plate! Delightful atmosphere and the piano player is spectacular!

  Unfortunately wasn't in the mood for a steak, so I only had the spaghetti and meatballs. My wife had fancy chicken Alfredo, both were very good, as was the fresh bread, salads and mushroom appetizer. Decent size place, staff is very accommodating and it feels warm, western and rustic. Will try again when I want a steak in town.
